In Pokémon Black and White, in the special event encounter with a wild Zoroark in Lostlorn Forest, the wild Zoroark will be disguised as Entei, Raikou, or Suicune (depending on the Pokémon that triggered the event).
Pokémon cannot transform into a Pokémon that is disguised by Illusion.Īdditionally, wild Pokémon can disguise themselves with Illusion under certain circumstances. If a Pokémon obtains this Ability with Imposter or Transform, it will not disguise itself. Illusion cannot be copied by Trace, Power of Alchemy, or Receiver. Skill Swap fails if either Pokémon has Illusion. Role Play fails if the target has the Ability Illusion. If a Pokémon with Illusion uses a Z-Move, the illusion wears off immediately before using the Z-Move. If the Pokémon with Illusion is hit by a multi-strike move, the illusion will be broken after the first hit. Indirect damage (such as from a Life Orb, weather, status conditions, recoil, etc.) will not break the illusion. The illusion disappears if the Pokémon has its Ability changed or suppressed or if it takes damage from a damaging move. On the user interface, an opponent's Pokémon disguised by Illusion will appear to be the type of the Pokémon it is disguised as (even if it is affected by a move such as Soak). The effect is only aesthetic-effects such as Attract still use the Pokémon's actual gender. Illusion replicates the appearance (including species, form, and Shininess), nickname (or species name if none), Poké Ball, and gender of the Pokémon it is masquerading as however, it does not replicate the level of the masqueraded Pokémon.
Also, because of the laws in Japan about erotic content in media, you can't see the genitalia of the characters in games, which makes the sex scenes even less enjoyable. When a Trainer's Pokémon with Illusion enters battle, Illusion changes the appearance of the Pokémon to that of the last conscious, non- Egg Pokémon in its Trainer's party.
The sex scenes are not pleasant to watch, mostly about how badly animated are, and not mentioning that some games involves rape, which makes these scenes very unsettling to watch.
Due to the controversy around RapeLay and the censorship laws in Japan, several games made by Illusion were banned or not intended to sell outside of Japan, which means that you can't play a game in another language besides Japanese, unless you use mods.
The voice acting of most of their games are mediocre to horrible, especially during the sex scenes.
Also, some games that doesn't have questionable content, has boring and generic plots you can expect from a eroge game, like Artificial Academy and School Mate, that has the high school plot, which is a very overused plot in a eroge game.
Their games have, at a lot of times, disturbing material or revolve around a disturbing premise (an infamous example is RapeLay), somehow due to poor quality of the graphics it makes the experiences even more uncomfortable.
Like Artificial Academy, which the player have to interact with other students to befriend them, and have sex with your lover.
Most of these games have poor gameplay and only a few enjoyable elements, which can bore the player overtime.
For example, Battle Raper 2 costs ¥9.500, which is around $85, even by the fact that is just a generic Soul Calibur-style game.
Prior to 2018, they published a large amount of titles with overpriced price tag for its content.
Speaking of which, Illusion reused several assets in most of their games, especially the character models, that lack any kind of detail and expression whatsoever.
The graphics of most of their games are horrible and outdated, with an extremely poor model quality, even by 2000s and 2010s standards.
The main problem of this company is that they put less effort on their games, caring more about quantity over quality, resulting in a lot of mediocre to bad games.
Note: Most of these qualities were applied to pre-2018's Illusion.
